Edward Rom

Biography

In this role, Edward oversees key client relationships, long/short strategic goals and the financial state of the company Edward began his career at Acquirent, a provider of outsourced sales solutions, as an outside sales rep while attending DePaul University full-time.

  • In 2008, he began his journey at CIT. After joining CIT, Ed started at the bottom and quickly adapted to the fast pace environment. He was put through a rotational learning program, where he held several positions throughout the business, starting with dispatching, accounting and safety/compliance.

In just a short while, after establishing some key relationships with customers, he grew the fleet of owner operators from 20 to 120 trucks while opening another terminal in Miami, FL.

  • In 2013 Edward assumed more control of the business, he shifted to focus more on business development, client relationship and growth strategy.

  • In October of 2016, Edward had purchased the company from Jacob Rom.
